The ducks were dominant this weekend at Scott Stadium. Their speed is evident, their scheme is sound, they are crisp and well coached and they execute. Virginia was clearly the underdog and when they helped by turning the ball over four times, the route was on. What can loyal Hoo fans hang their hat on after this debacle? Several things including the fact that nobody left on the schedule will be that good, and yes I'm including Clemson and that school in Blacksburg with the worst running backs coach in the country. The bye week has arrived at a perfect time. Injuries to the tailbacks should heal up for the game in Pittsburgh. The upcoming scrimmage with VMI should help but the offensive line and David Watford's confidence. I look for a much better effort over the next four to five weeks that will determine if the HOOS reach the post season. Time will tell. However the next few weeks go, me and my loyal group of Hoo fans from section 111 will be there yelling our ass off and irritating as many visiting team fans as possible. GO HOOS!
